Style Theology

The foundation of great style is a healthy style theology.
“I just need to lose a few more pounds.”
“When I get to a size ‘x’ I’ll come back and shop.”
Time and time again I’ve heard these comments in our stores. So many women keep their eyes on the scale or on their pant size, that all they see when they look in the mirror are numbers and pounds.
This kind of misguided, weight-focused thought makes style the reward to reaching that weight goal or ideal pant size. With this mindset you continuously live your life on a scale while chasing an ever-changing number. And even if the goal is reached, more than likely you will still see things that you don’t like about the shape of your body, and ultimately you remain in a vicious cycle of “just a few more pounds and then I’ll shop.”
But it’s time for a new style theology!!
Embrace where you are now and enjoy and utilize the tool that fashion was intended to be. When you love yourself and love your style in a way that embraces your body, you will be satisfied and confident in your skin at every stage of your life. So don’t wait to feel good in the skin that you’re in!
Step off the scale and slip into some shoes that make you walk a little taller! We are all uniquely beautiful and it’s about time we show and embrace it!

Even Queen B thinks so.
“Pretty Hurts”
‘Shine the light on whatever is worse
Perfection is a disease of a nation
Pretty Hurts
Try to fix something
But you can’t fix what you can’t see
it’s the soul the needs the surgery’
