Oscars Best dressed

The Oscars host the biggest star studded night in Hollywood. Each year its viewers gasp at the impeccable styles on the red carpet and create a fashion buzz for weeks. Here are some trends, styles and stars that stole the nominations and hearts at the 86th Academy Awards.

Color and Curves

Sandra Bullock looked gorgeous in Alexander McQueen. The sapphire blue gown popped on the red carpet and the draping gave the perfect amount of interest while flattering Sandra's shape.

Jennifer Lawrence looking regal and standing tall (despite her run-in with a traffic cone) in this red Christian Dior  couture gown. She also sported a dazzling $2MIL Neil Lane Necklace.

Proper Pastels

Camila Alves joined husband, Matthew McConaughey, as he won an Academy Award for Best Actor. She look poised and proud in a Gabriela Cadena gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewels as Mconaughey accepted the award and gave a inspiring speech.

Lupita Nyong'o won best supporting actress and dazzled viewers in a pastel blue Prada gown. Lupita has hit the mark at every red carpet event in stunning dress and has become one to beat on Hollywood's red carpets. Whether on film, or on the red carpet Nyong'o will be making a statement.

Elegance and Embellishment

Cate Blanchett walked away from the Oscars with a little golden man of her own! The Academy Award Winner for Best Actress wore a Giorgio Armani embellished master piece that stole the hearts of viewers.

Kate Hudson was absolutely stunning in an Atelier Versace gown. The dress was visually artistic from all angles and gave a old Hollywood few with a modern twist. The seems and studded bolero accentuated  Hudson's petite frame without being overtly sexy.
